Why Peroxide?

What's all the fuss about peroxide, why does it matter and why do Sefid use it?

What is peroxide?
Peroxide is a clinically proven ingredient, that has safely been used by dentists for decades.

Peroxide, is usually found as,
hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) or carbamide peroxide (CH6N2O3).

Antiseptics, acne medications, and mouthwashes all safely use peroxide too!
How effective is it?
Peroxide works by entering your tooth's porous enamel and releasing free-radicals that break down stain molecules

Peroxide has been safely used in dentistry for decades and backed by science. Our strips meet the General Dental Council's guidelines.

What other whitening ingredients are there?
We only use ingredients that are scientifically proven to whiten and strengthen your teeth, because you should feel confident about your smile.

We use other whitening ingredients too, such as PAP alongside our peroxide. This helps boost the whitening strength whilst still being gentle on your teeth.
